Cameras that are actually useful

The difference between a camera system that helps and one that doesn't is almost entirely in the design. Cameras positioned to identify a face at a gate rather than record the top of a head. Adequate low light performance for a driveway at 8,000 feet in January. Local recording with enough retention to still be there when you need it. Sensible motion zones so you get an alert when a vehicle enters the drive and not every time an elk crosses the lawn.

We survey the property, agree what each camera is for, and specify to that. A smaller number of well-placed cameras beats a large number of badly-placed ones every time.

Video intercom, gates and locks

Gate and door control integrates directly into Control4. The intercom feed appears on in-wall touchscreens and on your phone, and you can grant access from either — useful whether you're upstairs or in another country. Door locks, garage doors and vehicle gates all sit on the same interface, with an audit trail of who came in and when.

Alarm integration

We integrate with the major alarm platforms so arming and disarming can happen from a keypad, the app or automatically as part of a scene. An armed system can trigger lighting and shading responses, and a triggered zone can bring the relevant camera up on screen automatically.

Watching the property remotely

Everything is reachable from anywhere over a properly secured connection — no port forwarding, no default passwords, no cameras exposed to the open internet. We monitor the recorders and cameras remotely and will usually notice a failed drive or an offline camera before you do.
